The best way to dissolve the MC in water, is to suspend the MC first in hot water. Here the MC is not soluable, when the temperature decrease the MC dissolves. This temperature depends on the specific MC grade you are using. in contrast HEC + CMC are soluable at all temperature, here medium to high shear is needed to achieve good solution quality.
