I want to do RFADCC assay thus need plasma samples without EDTA. I have sample stored as EDTA plasma. So is there any method to remove the EDTA from plasma samples?
I suggest to use the same method used by the FBI to determine (remove) EDTA which employs ultrafiltration membrane with cutoff of 10,000 dalton to separate the EDTA (or its complexes) in their samples from the blood.
The technique based on that EDTA and its complexes are small enough to pass the membrane, whereas, the other large molecules present in the plasma samples are remained on the membrane.
