I have imported an 3d model from catia into abaqus, i used rectangular pattern in catia but in abaqus it was not integrated, it was 3 separated parts.
when I exert force in abaqus the patterned objects become separated while it is a 'body' in catia.
I attached catia,s 3d model and abaqus model.

Hello Masoud,
You need to apply some contact constraints to the part which is imported in Abaqus then only it will act as a single body. I will suggest it is better to create your 3D model in Abaqus itself.

You need to save as the part as STL file which is imported in Abaqus
then only it will act as a single body.
