As we know that there are several methods to test whether the data comes from normal distribution. Is there any method to test whether the sample comes from gamma distribution or not. which statistical software can be used for it?

use the non parametric methods..
you can use QQ plot. for computing quantiles MATLAB gaminv command can be used. There are also redymade macros in SYSTAT and must be also in R.
