I am working on measuring ROS from erythrocytes using H2DCFDA, please what is the best medium to run the experiment?
We have used Medium199 for culturing cells and measured ROS level.. it has worked well in our system.
I use DMEM added with glutamate and pyruvate but no phenol red and FBS. Good luck.
@Ying Yang, thanks for the answer. When you used the DMEM, were there issues of artifact formation with DMEM and the probe (H2DCFDA)?
