Polr2a, Rpl32 and Tbp seem suitable for studying ventricular remodeling/heart failure in rats' cardiac tissue.
Kindly share your experiences, please.
Dear Sulail
It depends on your tissue type so be guided by literature
However there are a number that tend to be ubiquitous
1. B actin
2. B2 microglibulin
3. B tubulin
4. gapdh
5. 18s RENA
6. Tata binding protein
You can use b actin gene its widely use
Dear Sulail,
I agree with Lawrence, you can use
1. GAPDH
2. Beta ACTIN
3. TATA binding protein
4. Cyclophilin
5.18S rRNA.
First check the expression of these transcripts and then select the housekeeping gene.
In my experience 18SrRNA has worked well.
Thank you.
Regards,
Prasad.
Thank you guys. Using 2 control genes are recommended, right? Dr.
Dr. Pethe, you've used 18SrRNA for cardiac tissue (rats)?
find attached 2 x papers describing housekeeper gene selection in general and onother specifically referring to cardiomyocytes
I have used 18S rRNA for lookig at expression of cardiac specific genes from human embryonic stem cells.
because many technical steps are there to get a particular plant nano particle and its expensive too
