I am giving 1mg/kg of thymoquinone to rats. Diluting the TQ in DMSO. How to make the final concentration of DMSO to 5%?

I am planning to administer 0.5ml of 1mg/kg of thymoquinone to rats weighing 400g. The thymoquinone will be solubilized in 100% DMSO and consequently water.

My question is how do I make the concentration of DMSO to 5%.

Dear Naily,

You have to consider first the solubility of TQ in DMSO, after that you can go to DMSO diluting.
