I have 39 factors in the questionnaire filled in by diabetic people and 29 factors in the one's filled by non diabetic people. I want to reduce the factors in both questionnaires separately i-e, I am applying factor analysis in both the data sets separately.
How do I know which factors are extracted for further analysis, I mean which of the factors should I use and which of the factors should I subtract for further analysis? How would I know?

Hi Hamna,
I am not sure what you have provided in the spreadsheet. It appears to be 41 questions, and 25 respondents. If this is the case, these are not "factors" but questions. Please clarify what these data represent, and what analyses you have performed so far.
And are these 41 items on a given survey, or are they items on > 1 survey? Please provide clarification.
