I use Me:H2O mobile phase but the color of Schiff base diapers as indicator of hydrolysis of it; is it true? so a buffered solution may useful ?
The best is MeOH:Water 95:5,....but take care because the hydrolysis is real.....PBS can help you at used....
Following above all
