My problem is to model angular contact ball bearing in machine tool spindle. To conduct analysis should it be modelled as per dimensions in 3D and contact should be given by meshing using solid mesh or any special elements to be used what will be the effect kindly guide me

I tried with 3D solid meshing of angular contact bearing and surface to surface contact is given to roller to outer ring and rollers to inner ring but it is very difficult to solve, very much time consuming and also even consumes huge amount of memory then I modeled bearing as solid part just as a ring without any spherical balls I got the result. I am conducting only a static analysis will bearing with solid part for static analysis weather the results are valid kindly provide your valuable input
