How transfectable are U87MG cells?

I was wondering if someone might have experience transfecting expression plasmids into U87MG (glioblastoma) cells? I would like to transfect in an expression plasmid and overexpress a protein in these cells. I use Lipofectamine 2000 as my transfection reagent. Thank you!!! -Jim

Hi James,

Cannot say for Lipofectamine 2000, but our Viromer RED works not so bad... see page 2.
