Hello, fellow researchers! I am trying to develop an experiment with embryonic and larval fish in which they are exposed to a simulated tidal inundation of their habitat. This would involve some sort of time controlled inflow system to prove water of different conditions than what is already in the tanks. My lab currently has an Iwaki aquatic system, the LAbREED® Zebrafish System specifically, that I was hoping to use. My current issue is trying to find a way to create another inflow system that is different from the inflow coming from the Iwaki. Does anyone have experience creating a simulated tidal inflow in a laboratory setting or suggestions for how to possibly create one? Thank you!
