I'm drawing a 2D model to simulate Joule heating. How can I set a desired thickness in a 2D COMSOL model? If I don't have the luxury of setting the thickness, what is the default thickness taken up by the model? Looking forward to knowing your answers. Thank you.

The thickness for your 2D model can be specified in the Thickness section available under the main physics node of Electric Currents (ec) and Heat Transfer in Solids (ht) interfaces. The screenshots has been attached for reference.
BY default, in COMSOL the thickness of the 2D model will be taken as 1[m].

Thank u posting image. But how the thickness is varying with respect to the space charge in 2D model (Ex: Two parallel plate capacitor) as we take parametric sweep. can u explain this.
