How to print on 1 mm thick antimicrobial disk?

Antimicrobial disk used for susceptibility testing were labeled on both sides with antimicrobial code and drug content.

As the absorbent paper with 1 mm thickness is not supported by conventional printers,

How do they do it?

Is there any solution other than messy screen printing?
