While designing a bandpass filter, it is required to plot the design curve for external quality factor vs gap between the resonators and the coupling coefficient vs gap. I want to know is there any relation between or any mathematical formula? How to plot them?

The coupled tuned circuits was studied longtime ago and you can find their transfer curve versus their coupling coefficient. There are three coupling modes:
loosely coupled, critically coupled and over coupled. Also, the coupling coefficient
