Does anyone know where can I find the standard deviation out of the multiple scans done in FTIR ATR using Cary 630?
For my method, I've selected 64 sample scans, so as to improve the signal to noise ratio. As a result I've obtained an averaged scan. Is the standard deviation data of each absorbance at its respective wavelength available somewhere? (I'm using the MicroLab and ResPro softwares)

I believe it is not easily available as the scans are not saved, only the average signal. However, the deviation of the scans only gives information about the noise corresponding to each wavenumber. If you really need that, you can set the scan numbers to 1 and measure 64 spectra, and do this with a few samples, to establish the signal-to-noise ratio of the method.
If you need the deviation corresponding to the method reproducibility you should do several acquisitions (with the stablished number of scans) and calculate their deviation. This can be used to optimise the number of scans. And if you want to consider the whole analytical reproducibility you should measure several spectra replacing the sample or doing analytical replicates and calculate their deviation.
