AvSoft Bioview is an image analysis software that allows you to mark parts of an image based on the color of the pixels. Once you've marked them, it gives a number that shows exactly how many pixels are that color.

I'm pretty sure it's possible to do this kind of numeric analysis of pixels by color with some Python code. However, I would like to know if the AvSoft Bioview developers continue working on the program.
