Dear colleagues,
I am struggling to obtain soil environmental RNA extractions with Zymobiomics RNA Miniprep kit, even while following carefully all steps of this kit designed for this purpose. I made several attempts, but so far I only obtained yields of 4-20 ug/ul with Qubit RNA hs and all formamide gels performed indicated degraded RNA.
Did someone already use this kit and obtained good results? I would love to obtain any advice or suggestions that you may have. I am familiar with DNA extraction kits, but this is my first attempt with RNA ones.
