how to model a ribbed reinforcement bars in ansys ?
Hi Thennavan,
I think that there are several ways to do that.
1- You can model as a line element and use Timoshenko Beam Theory for ribbed reinforcement.
2- You can draw as the same as real model in CAD program or ANSYS.
By the way, which type of analysis do you want to execute?
