I will be setting up experiment with one woodlouse and leaf litter per petri dish. The dishes will then be kept at 20C for a month in an incubator in the dark. The dishes will be taped on either side to stop the lids coming off but not sealed.

I need to keep high humidity so the leaf litter doesn't dry out. Would a wet cloth over the dishes work? Or sit the dishes on oasis floral foam and soak that with water every few day? Or any other ideas?

Thanks
