Hi. I want to plot a time series graph of Soft X-Ray flux (W/m^2) versus Time. But, I encounter some problem which is did not find the raw data of solar flare from any websites. The data that i obtain from the spaceweather/solar monitor website for the class of solar flare is in term of, eg:B3. But, I need to obtain the class of solar flare in terms of their flux, eg:3x10^-4 as to plot the graph of time series of Soft X-ray flux. Is there any solution to this problem? Because I collect the data for 3 years, so it was a bit difficult to key in each class of flares one by one.
Hi Tengku Nur Ain . I haven't seen data that specifically looks for the flux of solar *flares*. But if you are looking for solar flux data in general, then I think you will find the following resource very useful: https://sam.nrel.gov/weather-data.
They have solar irradiance data in the form of text files that contain data in hourly or subhourly time steps.
