While doing TRPL of MAPbI3 thin film on corning glass substrates it is difficult to get a good intensity of emission.

At best, an intensity of only about 100counts is observed with a 405nm laser for the film thickness of ~400nm. However, high-intensity PL peaks are observed in steady-state PL measurements.

What may be the possible reasons for this and what are the points to be taken care of to get correct data?
