Hello,

I am trying to titrate several antibodies into some panels for flow cytometry, and I'd like to avoid doing several different "experiments" in DIVA and wasting reagent by making different compensation controls for each panel, when many of my antibodies and fluorochromes are the same. However, some colors are the different and some colors are not used in each panel. I'm trying to figure out if there is an easy way to tell DIVA that for some samples I need to compensate between for example Red, green and blue, and for another set of samples, red, yellow, and blue and that possibly blue in the first is CD3 and in the second it's CD19. It seems like label-specific compensation is the way to do this, but it's not clear to me if I have to delete labels that I'm not using in samples or if it will know that a sample that doesn't have a label isn't stained with that fluorochrome. Does this question make sense? Am I on the right path? Please help -_-

Sincerely,
