I am a Research Technician on a study that will be evaluating the effectiveness of Opioid Intervention Court vs. traditional Drug Treatment Court in Buffalo, New York. We are looking to add a section to our questionnaires that will inquire if/how COVID-19 has impacted our participants-- be it their access or in-access to drugs, increased or decreased use, mental health effects, access to support, etc.
Sounds like an interesting project! Are you looking for a set of questions? Would be useful to know if it is an administrated questionnaire or self-completion and a bit more about the methodology.
Yes, we are looking for a set of questions if there are any, but we realize we may have to create our own as this is still a very new situation. They will be self-completed questionnaires by the participants on their phone or laptops, and they are also given to option to come in and complete them on our computers. We will be conducting screenings at both the Intervention and Traditional drug courts... once they open back up!
I don't really have an answer but a slight suggestion. Five (attached Ehrenreich-May (2020) seems to be used in a number of locations and so it might be interesting to think of a comparison as I think they are looking at people to share date sets (if possible). Good luck!
