1.How many blank sample generally needed?
2.What is the type of blank sample needed? solvent blank or matrix blank?
3.What is the difference between instrument blank and method blank?

Based on the Standard Deviation of the Response and the Slope
Determine absorbance/peak area of series of know concentration solution. Plot the calibration curve where absorbance/peak area, the dependent variable, is placed on the y-axis and concentration, the independent variable on the x-axis.
Determine slope and standard error (STEYX in excel) and add in below formula.
Detection limit = 3.3 x Std error/Slope
