I have a MR volumetric sequence, where size of the brain volume is 256*256*181. Where there are 181 sequences, each sequence size of 256*256.
I want to extract patches from each sequence and save the complete extracted volume as a patch vector in matlab.
@vikas Ramachandra thank you for your reply sir. I want to use for loop and extract patches of size (11*11 pixels) from each sequence and want to concatenate all these patches one above other and save as vector.

You may use im2col function if you are dealing with images, because it seems it best suits your needs here. Generally, you could use the following (note that 256 is not divisible by 11, so 16*16 submatrices are used here):
PatchSizes = mat2cell(SeqMatrix,16*ones(size(SeqMatrix,1)/16,1),16*ones(size(SeqMatrix,2)/16,1)); % Cell containing extracted submatrices
ReshapedPatchSizes = reshape(PatchSizes ,16*16,1);
FinalPatchSizes = vertcat(ReshapedPatchSizes{:}); % concatenate all patches
You should change the above blocks according to your needs. However if you need to extract merely 11*11 blocks, you can extract the matrix of size 253*253 for each sequence (e.g. NewSeq = Seq(1:253,1:253)), and do the above procedure by replacing 11 instead of 16.
