I need to filter several bacterial cultures to get rid of the bacteria while keeping the media. I have the filters but only one filter holder.

Are there tips on how can I use the holder several times in a row?

In other words: I can autoclave the unit to make it sterile, but then I can only filter one sample; for the second sample, the unit would be contaminated with the first one.

How can I sterilize the unit quickly so that I can reuse the holder by simply changing the filter?

Can I pass ethanol or some other disinfectant in it, then wash with water? Or is there a better approach?
