Recently, We have synthesized a material having structure A2BO4, the XRD pattern of synthesized powder doesn't match with any reported XRD pattern or theorectical databases.
Reidveld analysis would help you to find out the lattice planes as well as many other crystal informations.
It is posible to identify th crystal structure of material by mesuring the XRD plans (hkl) from their diffraction angkes the d-spacing can be calculated and from their values their related (hkl) can be calculated and then the lattice specing. Dear colleague,
I suggest you either to find some isostructural oxide, very possible you will
find one with composition A2BO4 with the same space group (A-alkali metal,
B-can be Al, Ti or any other metal with 3+). Than you have to perform the Rietveld
refinement of the structure in order to be sure.
