When you receive DNA sequencing results as in the attached image, is it generally possible to say that the results of the upper row are more confident than the results of the lower in the same image?
yes sequencing is very good when clean template is sequenced but when the signal gets weak the background noise becomes comparable with the sequencing signal so you can be completely confidant in the top sequence but you might get some usable sequence from the bottom but with little assurance that it is completely correct
