You can easily design the steam-methane reformer (SMR)and the water-gas-shift (WGS) reactor very easily using the HYSYS process design software. You can download a free trial copy of HYSYS from aspentech.com

I use HYSYS in my chemical process design course (CENG-416), the capstone course in the chemical engineering curriculum, at Yale University.

I know there are also a few other companes that produce small H2 plants like this.

Commercial H2 plants operate at ~20  Bar and 820 C outlet temperatures but the smallest commercial plants I have ever seen are about 50 times larger than your requirement.

Thank you Yehia, I appreciate that information it is helpful. The issue is that this is not my area of expertise. I have IP that will utilize the SMR/WGS/Purification process and was hoping to find either an off the shelf product or someone who has expertise in designing these.

Thank you Rick, I looked around on that site and will contact them on Monday to see if they have anything small enough. The prototype is for onsite hydrogen generation which is why it is so small and is also why I have had difficulty in finding a compact SMR/WGS/Purification system. Thanks again for the information and if you know of anyone that specializes in this type of system I would greatly appreciate the information.

If you can't build a plant that is small enough you may want to consider buying H2 in cylinders.
