I have coupled two Darcy law flow in COMSOL to simulate the air - water flow in a porous media. However, while the outflow boundary condition the P_air_(non-wet)_out= 0 , I don't know how define and outflow condition for water phase ?
wouldn't the outflow boundary condition for the two flows be the same? in my opinion, you simply define the pressure outside your domain to force the flow to leave the domain and in this case it will be the same for the water and for the air, simply the room pressure, agreed?
it would work but just till air reach to output (Sair>0). Because by putting P=0 for both phases we forced Pc=Pair-Pwater=0-0=0 . After air reaching output the Pc tend to be bigger than 0 while its forced to be 0. Therefore it won’t converge
