I have done a two-way ANOVA for comparing data of two-time points among three different stress exposure group to compare within and between groups, but the data shows comparison only between groups not within groups of two-time points. so what is the appropriate statistical method for this study?

If you want within group variance at each time point, do two separate one way anova of stress exposure groups at each time point. Otherwise a 2 way anova should give between groups, between time point , interaction, and within cell variance estimates.

How do you measure stress? via psychometric measures or biological or both? If you measure cortisol, I might use the area under the curve (AUC) formula wihin ANOVA. Kind regards, Jennifer

I am not measuring stress actually, Animals were exposed to the stress during the gestational period at three different trimesters. Now I want to measure the Body weight gain and food intake levels for 1-10 days and 11-22 days of the gestational period. I want to compare data between and within the group of one control and three stress exposed group, for two-time points.
