I am familiar that young modulus is the value of stress/strain. But in some papers the stress values are reported at different strains. Like modulus at 300% modulus at 200%. Please guide what is the young modulus of attached figure
Keep in mind that true Young's modulus is defined as the stress/strain slope in the linear elastic region. So for the examples you provide, it appears that Young's modulus can only be calculated below about 10% strain before the curves become non-linear. A more useful and less academic answer depends on the use environment. What is the maximum stress or strain that the component will see? Is the load in tension, compression, or shear. Is the load static or dynamic? If dynamic, what is the frequency? What is the use temperature range?
