I've been using ResearchGate for a while now and have found many useful research papers that are beneficial for my work. However, I've noticed that many authors do not respond to my messages. Could anyone provide insights into why this might be happening? Is there a specific way to approach authors that might increase the likelihood of receiving a response Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! ?

It is usually helpful to introduce yourself and to describe the background and reason for your message/request/question. However, there is no guarentee to get a reply. I also made this experience. There can be various reasons why people do not answer.
Dear Haifa Shaafi Though hard to believe ;-) but not every researcher is that active here on RG.
If you look at the profile of the one you try to reach you can look at 'activity on ResearchGate' or click on 'research' and when you see 0 questions and 0 answers then it is quite likely that you deal with someone who rarely looks at what happens here on RG.
In that case you can (when it comes to full text requests) go directly to the publication and search for the corresponding author and address your request this way.
