It seems you would like to study the material response under high compression strain, you can use any continuum element such as tetrahedral or cubical element having 8 - noded or 20-noded. I also recommend you to read ABAQUS manual for better understanding in this regards..

For 'step' I would suggest you to choose Dynamic Temp-disp Explicit with automatic increment type as your strain rate is high. And for the element type, I just want to add that you may try with C3D8R (8 node Hex element) too.

Thank you for the answer. I am using Temp-disp explicit, I define temperature of the body "apply load module", when I run the job, i get error message as

Temp boyndary conditions not defined, or some error about degrees of freedom.

Could you please help me on this issue.

You should use the type of elements that have the degree of freedom of temprature. See Abaqus documentation for this issue.
