I am new in abaqus. Any help will highly be appreciated. I am designing a die for forging a metal specimen. After submitting the job, i can only see stress distribution in metal specimen. Is there any way to investigate stresses in rigid die? Actually what i am not getting is the post-processing scenario.

Since you have defined your dies as rigid bodies and you did not define any mechanical properties for these components, the software will not evaluate stress, strain or other results.
If you want to evaluate stress concentration, you should define your dies apparatus as deformable objects and assign mechanical properties which is simple.

As Mr. Farhad said, you cannot see any strain or stress distribution on rigid objects. As you can see, rigids are assumed to be not deformed. You should use elastic dies on your forging simulation. However, the CPU time for the solution will increase with elastic die usage. If your operation is simulated in 3D, i recommed you to conduct simulation with rigid dies first, then apply the forging load to elastic die in a different simulation.

You can of course plot the contact pressure/forces directly in Abaqus.
Furthermore, you can easily find out normal stresses at the surface of the die: Normal stresses are continuous, so the normal stress on the die surface is the same as the stress of the workpiece (and same as the contact pressure). For tangential stresses, it is more complicated because the surfaces may be slipping.
