How PDT or photodynamic therapy can be used for functionalized TiO2 nanoparticles ?

The photocatalytic properties of the TiO2 can be tried to utilize in PDT for the surface activated vesicular structures transported to the region of interest (ROI) in actively directed vesicles (especially liposomes and nanoparticle, and other lipid carrier systems) encrusting/encapsulating the drug for the therapy requiring PDT modality. The bare NPs photo-sensitivity has to be modulated and made activable at demand/ by design to deliver the drugs used in PDT. The idea is for you to make your way to a viable project on this!
