Hi all,

I have to do a Matrigel invasion assay with MDAMB231 cells using Corning BioCoat plates. I have transfection and treatments to do. As far as I have understood from the protocol -

I have to transfect and treat the cells priorly in cell culture dishes and next day I will trypsinize the cells and add cells on the matrigel coated inserts. Now,

How many cells should I add on a 6well Biocoat plate insert?

How long should be optimum for these cells to invade?

Can anyone share a detailed protocol for Matrigel invasion assay and staining?

Thanks in advance,

Swarnali
