In the ScholareOne system, after the peer-review is completed, the status changes to "Evaluating Recommendation". How long does this status typically takes before hearing back from the journal editor?
Ahlam Talibi The status "Required reviews completed" indicates that the reviews have arrived. While it is unusual for peer review to be finished in 6 days, because this is a revised version, the reviewers were presumably previously familiar with it and could evaluate it quickly.
At this stage, evaluating should not take long, since the reviewers already sent their recommendations. Evaluating the reviewers recommendations is a double check that, usually, is not necessary, unless the editors detected something atypical in the reviews.

Ideally, the status "Evaluating recommendation" should not take more than a few weeks. In this stage, the Associate Editor (AE) evaluates the suggestions of the peer reviewers and gives his/her recommendation to the Editor-in-chief (EiC).
I agree with the comment by Avishag Gordon that it should not take long and the suggestion by Faraed Salman that it may be "a few weeks" already seems long to me. My experience is that it is faster, perhaps 1-2 weeks and I have noticed that some journals (and those editors) are quite fast and some are less fast.
