I have a concern about the EVs staining with the lipophylic dye PKH26.
I would like to stain EVs and then inject them in order to assess their distribution within the liver.
My idea is to observe where EVs primarily distribute once they are internalised into the liver.
For doing so, I'd like to fixate the liver tissue with formaldehyde for future assessment of the fluorescence of the PKH26 staining.
I still not have a clear idea about the injection site but currently, my principal concern is: how long will it last the labelling of EVs with PKH26?
Does anyone have any idea about that?

Due to the specific tissue distribution required here, blood vessels could be the best (although intricate) solution for stained EVs insertion. As for the time itself needed for distribution within liver tissue estimates always vary. During several of our research we used 10min intervals (for muscle tissue - around 17min for full tissue impregnation) for tissue distribution and after concluded mean time and started main experiments.
