Perhaps you can use a Soxhlet extractor to extract the antioxidants. Althernatively, you can soak the sample in the selected solvents and stir gentle for some hours using a magnetic stirrer at low rpm. My advice is that you perform any of these procedures using not just alcohols (methanol/ethanol) but also acetone, hexane and may be an ionic liquid, if your research budget permits. The basic procedure and set up for Soxhlet extraction can found in any chemistry text.

Soxhlet extraction or hydro- distillation can be used for extraction of antioxidants. You can start by dissolving dried powder in non- polar extracts like petroleum ether or chloroform and gradually moving to polar extracts like ethanol and methanol for better results.
