(Fig.5 )I was wondering how IL1b is secreted in those experiments (both paper linked here show that IL1b can be detected in the supernatant of transfected HEK293T using ELISA). Normally IL1b secretion depends on GSDMD/pyroptosis, but 293T does not express GSDMD. So how does 293T get the pores to secrete mature IL-1b?
