actually I have a problem to use full RAM capacity of my personal computer. fluent launcher a have set process 8 and running the simulation. I have 32 GB RAM but performance show by CPU usage 100% but RAM only running up to 8 GB RAM only.
I want to use my RAM at maximum performance level of my PC.
please suggest me how to do that ?
You can set the processes using processing options in launcher interface. Refer the following screen shot.

If only 8Gb of ram are uesd, it means that the simulation just need 8Gb. Don't worry.
If you want to run simulation in batch mode the command looks like
fluent 3ddp -i nomjournal -t8
where
3ddp stands for 3D version in dpuble precision
nomjournal is the journalfile that you should create to load and run the case
-t8 stands for 8 cores
An example of journal file can be:
rc fan.cas
/solve/initialize/initialize-flow
/solve/iterate 1
/file/write-data fan_1
exit
yes
where the case fan is loades, the solution initialized and the simulation run.
