Dialysis is one posibility. You can as well precipitate it and wash the precipitate with methanol or ethanol. After drying it you will be able to re-dissolve it in water.

Dialysis is very useful in purifying large quantities of polymer at a time. If you have smaller amounts of polymer to purify, size exclusion chromatography can be useful to purify a polymer from unreacted monomers. Jorge is right, reprecipitation is another useful method. Washing with ethanol is a good idea for sterility purposes.
