In NetworkAnalyst, there are 2 commonly used meta-analysis methods:

Combining P Values (Fisher's method/Stouffer's method)

Combining Effect Sizes (Fixed effects model (FEM) & Random effects model (REM))

IN individual datasets, for example, the upregulated DEGs were considered if the logFC ≥ 1 and logFC ≤ −1 for downregulated DEGs.

How about the meta-analysis results? The data table would either include the Combined Stat or Combined effect size depending on the kind of meta-analysis method employed. How do we set the threshold for up and down-regulated genes? Thanks a lot.
