How do we calculate scale for microscopic images and how do we add a scale bar to it?

I need to put scale bar in my microscopic images at 100x, 40x, 20x and 10x

Hi Himanshi,

Are you using a light compound microscope? People routinely use two small peices of microscopic scale/rulers called the occular and stage micrometers. They help you measure in microns. Since the occular micrometer literally goes inside the occular/eyepiece lense, any image taken will also have a scale bar. Any microbiology, fungal, or algal, even bryophyta lab will have these.
