I am currently analyzing a complex geometry where the mesh structure is obtained by Hypermesh. I saved the mesh structure with .stl extension. However, I am confused on how to import it in Comsol.
My question is: How do I import this mesh structure to be able to analyze it in Comsol? Should I import this in the Geometry section or the Mesh section in Comsol?
In addition, when I want to give boundary conditions to this structure, I get the “Not Applicable” error. I cannot even manually select the region where I want to apply the boundary conditions.
I am attaching the error I got.
Could you please help me with this issue?

Hello,
You can import your geometry direct into the mesh section in Comsol. After, you can use the mesh option of Comsol, included all transformations to solid, surface etc.
