I came across two primers for the amplification of gene of interest in begomovirus viz., rojas primer and deng primer. what is the difference between the primers
Deng A/B is a single degenerate primer pair to amplify the precoat/movement protein encoding region (V2) of the Begomovirus genome. However, Rojas primers are referred to a number of degenerate primers which can be used to amplify different genetic regions of the Begomovirus genome. So decesion to use primers must be based on the target region of the genome that you want to amplify. If you need more info, let me know.
@Dr Sibnarayan datta..Thanks a lot for the information sir...I need some more information regarding this..could you provide me your email id for the same..thanking you
