The side effects vary from person to person. The common side effects are fever and mild shivers that last for a day or two. So one needs to remain indoors for 2-3 days. Also there is pain at the site of injection. Headache and nausea can also be experienced in certain cases.

These are the general side effects which I have heard from people who have been vaccinated.

Adverse effects caused by the vaccine may be different - it depends on the patient's own 'predispositions'.

Personally, I know two people who took this vaccine. One of them experienced really unpleasant symptoms like fever (about 40 degrees), muscle pain, shortness of breath, dizziness, nausea, general fatigue. The first day was the worst, after that it started to get better; all of the mentioned symptoms were gone 3 days after the vaccination.

But the other person I know experienced no side effects at all - he didn't even feel the pain at the site of injection.

Currently there is significant confusion about the AstraZeneca vaccine, especially in many European countries. Dear Frank T.Edelmann, thank you for the idea which you shared with me. It is a great help to resolve my confusion about the vaccine.

Dear Wondimagegn Mengist in my personal opinion it was a big mistake that several countries temporarily stopped the vaccinations with the AstraZeneca vaccine. The number of cases with serious side effects is negligible compared to the number of vaccinated persons who are now saved from getting seriously ill with COVID-19.

The side effects are to a reduced number. We still don't know why they affect people although not the majority. Allergies and thrombosis and herrmorages. It affects people in different ways, but the side effects in vaccines are the same. Are we getting more data for certain groups teachers, sanitary, police man or do we always exclude the same health risk group for lack of information?
