I prepared one vesicles system in water taking fatty acid but found that it contained various size range of the vesicles. Hence i could not use it properly in different application. what are the factors that contribute to the homogeneity in size of the vesicles? is there any cause for the breaking of the structure of such vesicles(hence the stability)?

what is the methos you use to reduce the size of the vesicle i.e sonication, homogenization etc?
in each case there many different factors that can affect P.S and PDI.

then the power of sonication and the time of sonication will affect the P.S and PDI of your vesicular system.
you need to do some experiments to know the optimium sonication power and time to obtain your desired size and to maintain PDI lower.
